The bricks are very old, It is a old hose where a kitchen stove has been taken out and we are going to redo stove. Would like to clean the bricks up so looks good.

I have heard that sandblasting the bricks can renew their color, but I don't know about doing this inside the house. Maybe you can contact a commerical sandblast company and get an idea what tools are require and can this be accomphish inside your home. Hope this help and good luck.

Best way but messy is to sand blast them. It will make them look new.
