he's a real leader rather than Washington stooge. Latin America has had a lot of bozos and if they don't kiss Washington's **** they die in a plane crash or are over thrown by CIA backed rebels. Chavez won democratic election with 85% of the people voting for him. CIA tried to overthrow him but millions marched in the streets and 3 day later he was back in office. Bush hates him because he nationalized 51% of the oil and then used the money for education and poverty relief programs. in a country where 90% are poor he is building the first middle class in their history. I judge him by his deeds not his rhetoric. Bush is all rhetoric few good deeds.

Ill-tempered rantimgs will probably not inform. There are two documentaries, one by an Irish group and one y an Englis group that were co-incientally filming when the coup tried to out him a few years back. They may be more informative. And it is interesting to see different film makers from similar countries take opposing views on the same events.

He is not a menace, but an irritation to all sane people on Earth. His ranting and raving about hating the US is getting old. Is he jealous of our lifestyles?
I guess he's also jealous because all the other dictators get more press and are more feared in the World than he is, are a lot more evil than he is. I think he's just an "amateur" dictator. He does not scare me at all.

Chavez is a great leader (NUT!). And he should not be assassinated but dealt with diplomatically. The problem with the US government is they are reluctant to sit down with leaders they didn't put in power. We all have to deal with nuts. By not dealing with them, what do we expect to accomplish? Fidel Castro has remained in power for 40 years despite our not dealing with him. Only the citizens suffer. The leaders are the last to suffer.

He is a socialist pig. Who will eventually starve his people, take away all their rights and will start doing away with his opponents. And the worse part is that our liberal news media will tout him as a hero. So please think twice before using Citgo gas. The present boycott is already affecting his profits in the USA. Thats why that pig Chavez is running his propaganda commercials here.

I like him, he's one of the few who speak truth out there. That's why Exxon, Chevron and the CIA are spending millions trying to silence him.
I'm not a Communist but I do believe the Corporate Facist in this country are more dangrous than he is.

We're not at war with him and he's selling cheap gas. Can't say I have much beef with him. I mean he only called our president the devil. I've often thought the same thing...
