you are going to need to clarify the left side of the equation, dog.

is it (3 1/2)m or 3 1/2(m) ??

....if it is the first (I assume)

first convert to all fractional elements:
(7/2)m = 20/3
next eliminate the 7/2 by multiplying by the reciprocal
2/7(7/2)m = 2/7(20/3)
so
m=40/21 or 1 19/21

3.5m=6 2/3
7/2m=20/3
7/2m x 2/7=20/3 x 2/7
m=40/21
m=1 19/21

i think
and you should do your homework by yourself from now on
