Girl! believe it or not. I've been there. Go Wal-Mart get this aloe Vera gel put it in the freezer for about 20 min. and place it your skin it feels great. another home remedy is milk & raw thinnly sliced potateos. I know it sounds crazy but it works. Simpley place thin slices of potateos in ice cold milk for 10 min then place it on your back or burnt areas. THe potateo sucks up the heat from your body & the milk soothes. Girl next sun-block SPF 50 you'll still get TAN! Later gator must have been in somewhere down south.

Aloe Vera Gel or cream, just straight Aloe Vera will take the sting away and will help turn the burn into a tan, and will help with peeling. Its great, I use it all the time.

Calamine lotion takes the sting out of insect bites so it might work for sunburn, I don't really know. At least you weren't sunbathing where I was yesterday. Temp was -35 with windchill but sunny as all get out. Sunburn over frostbite any day.

Get a ripe Tomato cut in half & rub it on the sunburn, Carefully.
Alternatively you can buy Aloe Vera Juice, or if you are lucky enough to have it growing in your garden pick a leaf split it open and rub it on your burnt areas.

Baby Butt cream (Pardon my slang- Zinc oxide) is the best thing for sunburn not to mention other skin irritations. It feels cool against you skin and your sunburn will heal fast. It is sold as a diaper rash cream but trust me - it works great. My kids are way past the diaper rash age and I still use it. Aloe is great too but I prefer the baby butt cream. As far as the pain goes take a cool bath and some Tylenol.

I live in Southern Texas and I burn easily, I have a real live aloe vera plant that I snap off and use the liquid inside. Its sticky, But it works. If you don't have that---Try putting the green (or sometimes blue) slimey looking aloe vera gel in the refridgerator and applying, it feels cool. Good luck, and I have to say it: SUNSCREEN!

If it is really bad you should see a doctor to see what they recommend. But most of the times you can use just anti biatic cream you can get at the stores the stuff you use with tattoo's usually do the trick. But if it is really bad I would check with your doctor.
