It depends on the time of day and what day. During commute time it can take 3 hours or more. During off peak days and times 1.5 - 2 hours.

It's about 80-85 miles - all Interstate..Watch the time you plan to drive - traffic can be a BEAR during commute times. Best time would be leave Sacto about 900AM - no later than noon.

during times without traffic (before noon and past 7 during weekdays; before noon and past 4-5pm on weekends- depending on which direction you are going) usually takes me 1.5hrs. With traffic, I would say give yourself 3 hours just in case....
