As for me : I have had many shattered dreams, "EVENTUALLY".. I just left them exactly where they were.. and concentrated on making some new one.. Ones that wouldn't shatter so easily (I also made sure the shattered dreams didn't cut me up to much.) realistic ones, everything worked out for the better, now my dreams are reality....

So, how about you??
Thanks, for answering in advance!:)

As a young adult I was a witness to my dream slowing fading. It was a breakthrough when I decided to shatter it with an act of "lowering myself". In this serene state the pieces of the dream scattered. They were really aspects of my shallow identity. I collected them as I began to compare myself to others.
The possible alternatives are finite in number but limitless in combination. When a middle distance runner "digs in" at the critical moment that will decide his place in the race, he (or she) truly exists. The value of dreams is that they can get us a spot in that competition. It's not reasonable to conclude that the competition is finite. I'll dream of competitions yet to be. Call me an idealist. That's my reality.

Some of my shattered dreams keep resurfacing, through no choice of my own, and at first I started unraveling. However, I have created new endings to the nightmares by standing up to the past and refusing to lie down and play dead. It can be a struggle, but I refuse to allow those who have harmed me, win again! Those poor souls have already lost this battle and the war!
I also try to foolproof my new dreams by being realistic and allowing room for failure. My life is truly back on track and I have become a stronger soul as a result. My spirit is lighter and I find joy and reason to be thankful with each day I live.
What a great question, incredibly thought provoking and inspiring. May all your dreams be lined with Angels and the Creator's love! Annie

literally, the shattered pieces can be collected and reassembled into something greater, right? but what do you look for, and where do you search? i'm still finding pieces of a broken glass 3 months later, and i can't figure out where they all are coming from. the cats play with them sometimes.
here are some 'pieces' that might turn up from time to time. you can save and assemble them as you see fit later. those HOPES that you put great faith in are the most common pieces. what were you hoping for, and how often do you stumble across things that remind you? save these, for they can inspire you again.
there are EXPERIENCES that you shared and can learn from.. don't be surprised if you wind up in a place or a situation you've been in before. and it's okay to remember, and learn. save or discard these pieces as you see fit.
DISAPPPOINTMENTS are the sharpest edges. don't touch these until you're careful and good and ready, they may hurt a lot to handle. but they must be cleaned up eventually... with the help of a friend?
you may have to rebuild from scratch, but don't forget how you got there. become a skilled artisan. all those broken pieces can help you to make the new object better and stronger.
good luck, let's all keep dreaming!

my shattered dreams are locked up in a different place in my head. because if i let them out they shatter all over again. i have a few dreams that have become a reality. but 50 percent of my dreams have been shattered. so when my dreams shatter i lock them up. i try hard not to think of them.
this question really makes me think about shattered dreams thank you very much. and a very very good question

Many from the past were nightmares and I wouldn`t want any part of the pieces,
Of late, they get better and better, meet no resistance at all, and all materialize perfectly. Well, the odd one has yet to show up yet, but I know I am getting in the way because I have a family and my partner has resistance, ie. becoming a Texas Holdem Poker Champion.

I've found it very hard to leave my shattered dreams behind, because they're all I have left of the person I used to be. I used to be kind, gentle, and friendly to everyone. But fate had its way with me, and those aspects are gone, along with my hopes and dreams. I am still taking steps to try to rebuild on those dreams, and try to recover what's left of who I was.

Shattered dreams? Bury the past and work on something that is attainable. For as long as there is life, there is hope for everyone. God bless!
