Why are women so catty?

I only have 2 female friends.

I'm not the jealous type or nothing. Some of y'all are wasting energy. And for what? Nothing!

And you should feel lucky to have at least two female friends; I only have one and she lives thousands of miles away.

I do have one other female acquaintance though (not to mention my boyfriend`s relatives & friends).

Big deal, right?

I did have one good older female friend but when I moved overseas, we lost contact with each other because she wouldn`t use the Internet and get herself an email address like everyone else!

Can you believe this?!?

I guess she feels like she`s too old now to hop on the new technology bandwagon, I suppose, but who knows for sure?

She wasn`t a catty female though but she did like to gossip about others!

But who doesn`t?

Example of this--someone I know is trying to get skinny. Though I am thinner, this worries me. I have been busting my butt trying to lose more weight for years. I haven't been very motivated, however and have even gained 10 lbs.

But now that I know she is trying to lose weight also, I am going to really pull out all the stops.

And I have 0 friends. Men like me and I like them (but I'm married so that makes male friends mostly out of the question, too).

This doesn't answer the question (I'm sorry, I wish I knew what the answer was except that it must just be the nature of the "beast"...lol), but what I can say is, I'm with you. I have the same problem!

Because they enjoy getting into your face at whatever cost, an ego trip that makes them feel better about themselves. Attitude goes a very long way and some don't know how to behave- jealousy, vindictiveness, anger, etc. That's MY take on it based on experience and I am a woman.

i understand i also only have 2 friends that are females and its just because i have come to find out that most females a to talkative and not trustworthy i think its horemone related lol.. but to be honest most girls like to hear themselves talk. but with me growing up my brother always had his friends over and thats the crowd i was around mostly so i just connect better with men or i found that butch lesbians are more trustworthy
