Life changes in an instant, totally destroying its past, leaving an uncertain future,or possible variations of futures...and which one to follow? How many changes does one life have to endure before life itsself isn't worth the effort of yet one more tramatic chang?

Dunno it really depends on the person and the degree of changes.

But the whole I'm about to die thing really makes you feel that life, even a few more moments is worth everything that came before it.

Personally, I gave my life to God and much of those questions became irrelevant. Because of God, life suddenly had meaning, its meaning never diminishing nor increasing over time. The future to follow is the one God would have me take.

How many tragedies must one go through before they decide life is no longer worth going through another one? I have been through the works, including that last tragedy, what I thought would be the last traumatic change -- and I have been there a few times. Yet still, even today, I go outside and rejoice in the life that God gave me.

Sometimes I really want to go home to God, and that would mean to die, but I never want to die. That way I figure it is that if He has me down here, He has a good reason for it, so I am happy about that. If life was all about me, if I were selfish, then I surely would be in a bind. But, to me, life's worth is measured by others, not by myself. If I am worth something to someone, if I am worth something to God, then I have value. Even if I were an invalid, I figure that my value might be to teach someone to love and to care unconditionally.

Such thoughts might be sad, and they might be depressing, but I like to think them through, to not avoid them, and then I like to do whatever I can to be of value to others, and to God. In a way it is very much like being a soldier, you put your life at risk, but you have to live and survive in order to come back your loved ones, if you can, because it is them who you are fighting for.

Life is a gift, I try to put as much love into it as possible to make it beautiful. Sometimes it is not much, sometimes I think that all I do is make God smile, but that is enough for me, so on I go.

I think that when you have a family that needs you, your life suddenly becomes so much more important.
