I have budget only 1,500 Singapore dollar a month for this thing. Is it enough for that? I need a studio room because I am a single. I heard that HBD is hard to rent. Do you have any suggestion for me? Thank you in advance.

You can try to look into http://www.invest.com.sg at the "classified" and search for the accommodation you want. If you want a studio apartment, look into apartment - condo. For HDB, there is no studio apartment to rent.
You need to know the area code where you will be working so that it is easier for you to specify the place where you want to stay.
You may email to enquiry@invest.sg should you need any help from them. I suggest you specify the following:
a. The name of your place of work (Orchard Rd, Shenton way, Jurong, etc)
b. The place you prefer to stay (east, west, north, south, within city or outside)
c. Is it near MRT or sport facilities
d. Is there any food centre within walking distance (optional)
e. Fully furnished
The rental fee usually does not cover utilities, telephone, cable tv and broadband for internet. As such, you must know what you can use for the $1500 inorder to work out a package rent.
