I don;t know whethe or not to get my friend a gift certificate or a diaper cake. I would be spending the same amount...thanks :)

I would say the diaper cake! The idea is not only cute, but the diapers will come in very useful. Gift certificates are great, but (me included) people tend to spend gift certificates on things they might not really NEED but really want!

I say the gift certificate. The diaper cake is cute. I had one at my baby shower but they have newborn diapers and in all the excitement of a new baby I never even used them. So now I have this diaper cake to try to figure out what the heck to do with.

Get her a diaper cake!! Fill it with all the GREAT neccesities every new parent needs....or with whatever you want to gift her. Diaper cakes are so much more thoughtful than a gift certificate!!! Plus it is a memorable gift that shows thought.

Either one but I would get the diapers in a size or two bigger in case they are already stocked up. You'll also want to know what brand of diapers they use. The gift certificate is nice because they can use it on or towards something they baby needs or will need.

although a diaper cake is a really cute idea, i kind of see it as a pain in the butt to take it all apart to get to the diapers and then you have a bunch of loose diapers with nothing to put them in. i would rather get a gift certificate so i could buy whatever i still needed.

i say gift certificate. the cake is a nice idea, but by the time you get it all apart you have to find a place to store all those diapers and it's a mess. i would much rather have a gift certificate.

I would prefer diaper cake.. because it's cute and very useful.. if someone gives me a certificate.. it might go somewhere else beside some baby stuffs.

Gift certificate...definitely, that way the gift receiver can buy whatever they want or need. You never know who else will give them diapers.

Either one, because they're both useful gifts. I'd use size 2 diapers, though, cause needing those kind of sneaks up on you!
