how do i make sure that Firefox is permitted to acces the web?

Firefox should automatically be able to access the Web. If it can't, make sure your firewall is not blocking either the browser or port 80 (HTTP).

click on file/work online in your browser and it will automatically load in a page that you set it to on the web.

it shouldn't have to be fixed, it should automatically connected. and if the problem still exists, remove it, and download a new one
