As much as I am die hard liberal, i have to Giuliani is a very good candidate. Coming from the State that he was the mayor of, he did an excellent job. Though some criticize his lack of failure to prevent 9/11, which i believe is not his fault, rather Bush's fault. Giuliani showed an excellent leadership qualites as his years as a prosecutor and mayor. If your from NYC you will know, how much he helped clean up crime in the 1980s. For example many parts of the areas in NYC, were unbearable, infested with high crime rate, now you if you go back to those areas, you will see how much more safer they are than back in the 80s. This is the effect of the work of Giuliani.

So I'm saying keep a look out for him, don't throw him out, because he is a republican, he is a lot better than that WORTHLESS flip flopper Mccain.

Nice to see a question that rationally discusses the pros and cons of a person and not the typical party mud flinging! Its a refreshing reminder that people need to consider all the candidates, instead of just hitting that party button!

And, I think Giuliani is as much worth some thought and consideration as any of the other candidates, at least at this point.

Under no circumstances would I vote for Rude Rudy. If 9/11 had not occurred he would still be the discredited, two timing jerk he was the day before.

Have we forgotten how he brought his girlfriend to Gracie Mansion and boffed in the bedroom next to his daughter? How despicably he behaved towards his wife during the ensuing fuss? If Clinton's behaviour was bad, what can we say about a man who screws his mistress in his wife's bed, where his children can hear?

On 8/11 he was a disgraced and discredited fool, but bin Ladn gave him a chance to wrap himself up in the stars and stripes, and we better not be so stupid as to believe he has what it takes to be a good president.

McCain at least has some practical experience in the senate, and could get things done. Rude Rudy knows little about Washington, and the only way his administration could accomplish anything is if someone who did know what they were doing was holding his faithless penis in their pocket.

Giuliani has already flip-flopped on his abortion stance and Mccain is a flopper too. G did do a good job post 911 and he is well liked in the city. He is not as well liked in upstate ny. I would vote for Ron paul from texas...he seems to have a head on his shoulder.

No. He is a crooked slimball.

He was a good prosecutor. But he didn't clean up crime as mayor. The booming economy did that along with skyrocketing real estate prices which made it impossible for criminals to afford living in the city.

Rudy did make people feel safe by cleaning up grafitti, kicking homeless people out of the subway stations and getting rid of window washers at intersections and cracking down on renegade hot dog carts.

I have doubted the appeal of Rudy because of health and marriage issues, but he might just be what the country needs right now. I think he would bring some solid law and order to domestic policy, provided that Iraq is somewhat more resolved by '08. He would still carry solid anti-terror credentials, but frankly I think people are getting tired of hearing about 911.

Republican or Democrat, next time around we need a solid domestic issues type President.

Agree that McCain is pathetic . . . but not impressed with Guliani either. John Edwards embodies the best combination of intelligence, humanity, diplomacy and electability and should be our next President.
