well, when in doubt, you should probably just get him a gift card; everyboy <3s those! also, you could take him out on a special date. the movie, dinner, etc. could be on you... just show him your love and appreciation for him. and i wish him a happy b-day! --sylvia

If he likes sports, tickets to a game or a gift certificate for rounds of golf (if he's into golf or whatever)...it really depends on what he's into. If he likes football for instance...well, that season is over but you can always go online and purchase tickets in advance for an upcoming season...a delayed gift, yes...but he'd probably like it...something like that.
