Ha! I have the same problem. The best I've ever been able to come up with is after I've scrubbed the shower, I fill a watering can with hot water, (you know the kind with a spout and little holes in the end) and I use it to sprinkle the water around the shower. It works pretty well, and I don't get soaking wet that way.

I brought a really tough cleanser called KaBoom. I really cleaned my shower, cleaned it to an inch of its life. I have the hand held unit. My daughters doesn't so I had to use the bucket methot but I stood in the shower with the water (not shower) running and just kept rinsing my cloth in the water. Didn't get to wet and the showers sparkle. No I just use a spray on like Tilex to keep it clean. It's been several months and still cloean.

A rubber glove, clorox with chlorine, and a sponge. Careful. This'll strip and disinfect scummy buildup making it faster to go through.
