does taking out the plug when the comp is on everytime affect it in anyway?

You say you unplug your computer while it still running? No, that isn't good. You should select the "Shut Down" option from the Start Menu. It allows the Operating System (probably Windows) time to Shut Down.

It depends. It can not effect it at all or it can severely effect it. I wouldn't see why you'd take the plug out. Maybe if it's frozen but still you shouldn't. If you're going to do it, do it with caution.
