well in my time on games youll need 3 main things. 1. a good graphics card, so you can play the new and high detailed games. A video card, which helps you computer stop lagging(makes it run smoother). Lastly you need memory, this is critical for almost any games since you need it to play.

Also if you plan on buying these, get someone to install it thats good, and dont go cheap. Worse thing you can do is buy a low price computer component because the expensive ones may cost more but are better beacuse they last longer and you wont have to keep buying a new one every half a year to a year for like 150-200 bucks.
Happy Gaming!!!!!!!

Freezy and skipping = LAG. Also please post your computer's RAM, memory, video card (if it has one) and processor type. Even if you bought a new computer, it can play games like crap. Gaming computers are around 2000 dollars, so stick to games that don't require video/graphic software. Also get a high speed connection if you dont.

the two main things that have a factor in my experiance for online games is the graphics card you have, 128mb card (nvedia and ati) should get the job done, and you need more ram most online games "recommend" 512mb my in my opinion its not enough to go with out lagging in major areas, battles (whatever game you play). But if you wnat your online experiance to run a lot smoother i suggest upgraded to atleast 1gig ram.
