I'm really good at dancing (hip-hop). Does anyone know how I can excel in this and what course do I take in college? Also, how can I promote myself to a dancing (hip-hop) career?

You're good at dancing hip-hop, but are you also good at picking up new choreography? Professional dancers must be able to dance brand new sections of a dance after the first time it's shown to them. If you're not formally trained, this is very hard to do. Also, the area of hip-hop dancing is gradually changing all the time, so you have to be able to be adaptable in picking up new styles.

Colleges don't offer hip-hop classes. You'll only find ballet, modern, jazz and a bit of tap offered at the college level. However, all of those styles offer well-rounded training in dance.
