You're too slow. You need to knock at least a second off that time or forget it!!

If you want to play DT, you could be a Nose at 320 and a bench press of at least 1.25 your body weight. For OT, you either need to gain up above 320 and get your bench up above 100% of your body weight or stay around your weight and drop your 40 down under 5.3. But I"d have to see your footwork and how you play against the speedy DEs of the day today. 40 is too deceiving. If you think your play is D1 caliber, get your bench up above 305 and work on getting your 40 down as low as possible, and you can definitely make a squad. To start, you need to step up the workouts though.

the 40 for the offensive of line is pointless when was the last time a play had you block a runnig back 40 yards away...they should focus on a 10 and maybe 20 yard dash...the bench is kinda poor but that can always be increased...also a squat can always be a good number too look at and also from what ive heard the long jump is a good key of showing explosiveness ...if i were you i'd work on building speed, acceleration, lifting, and going to camps to show what you can do to coaches

No... because anyone that is 6'5", 305 lbs, starts both ways and has to "ASK" if he can play D-1 football... is no doubt not mentally ready or menatally tough enough for D-1 football.
Size is a dime a dozen... heart, determination and confidence in your abilities is what makes a D-1 football player. You don't have it or you wouldn't have to ask for everyones approval.

speed doesn't matter so much for either of those positions. You need to take DT though. Your tall and have long arms to bat down balls. DT are mostly run stoppers anyways so speed isn't really needed. They mainly plug up the middle. As far as your size and strength goes, your definitely cut out for those positions but your actual skill level is what is going to determine anything the most.

The size is great. You could get stronger though and make sure you are explosive and quick. If you are a good player then you could probably play D-1.

You're built more like an OT.
Why is the 40 time so slow? That could be a problem.

Listen to me..... I was 6'2 and 220 and played at a D-1 AA.... You are not strong for your size and your not fast..... I would call you a big teddy bear.... You need to work on your strength and a speed now.... Another note is to stay away from drugs they ruined me a career in football..

honestly, with what you wrote. no. you sound to slow. work on speed drills and you definately need to do more weight training. at 305, you should at LEAST be benching your weight buddy. you should be pushing that weight over your head.

Apply at www.detroitlions.com They would put you at quarterback, wide receiver or d-back. If none of those worked out they would make you the General Manager
