Depends on a couple of issues, one what are you trying to log into and two what are you trying to log in with?

The "client" is the program you run on your local machine to connect to a "server" In normal internet surfing the client is your web browser and the web servers respond to it when requested. Within a network at a business they usually have servers that allow personnel to connect to the server using a particular "client" program that is matched to the server. Particularly for VPN's (virtual private networks) etc.

So tell us what you are trying to "log into" and what you are using to try to connect, we probably can help.
