I'm not clear on this. She loves flirting and stuff, she's being mean to you, and you're scared to fight with her? With whom does she love "flirting and stuff" and how is she mean to you? Why do you really want to be her friend? Maybe you could just be civil to her and if she can't follow suit, just feel good knowing you did the right thing.
By the way, she IS NOT cool if she's mean. You're cool for trying to be a nice person.

If someone is going out of their way to be an annoyance, the best thing to do is just ignore it. There's no use in trying to be a friend to someone who is not willing to accept the friendship. At the same time, it isn't working getting violent over.

Well if she is being mean then why would you wanna be her friend? However i think maybe if you just tell her that you wanna be friends then maybe she'll accept you. If not then just dont bother. You've got other friends right?

Just be honest with her and let her know how you feel. Let her know some advantages of befriending you. Two girls together can pick up more cute guys than one all alone.

Well, she's obviously not so cool if she's mean to you. You should just try to avoid her...that way she won't be mean to you so much cuz youre avoiding her.
