Even though we try, we work and we pray. Should we keep on trying or give up??

What makes you so sure that the time for your dream to come true has passed? Maybe God isnt sure himself that youve earned your dreams yet. If youre still alive, then never ever give up on your dreams because tomorrow may just bring that dream and if you gave up today then what? When you least expect it is the time when good things happen. Lower your expectations a little and be a little more patient but dont quit. Sometimes dreams are all that some people have to live for and its that dream that keeps them going but they never give up. Dont quit. Good luck

That is a very good question. I have to deal with it also. At first you have to grieve over the loss of something that you always wanted. The grieving process have 5 stages-denial,anger,bargaining, depression, acceptance. So, if there are no other angles and options open to achieve your dream, you will have to grieve your loss to be able to move on. Its not a clear cut process and can remain stuck in some stages longer than others. Your reaching out which is a great sign- keep doing that-family,friends,therapist, whatever(exercise etc...)
What you will find as time goes on is that God had already chosen a different path for your life. One in which your talents will be used for there greatest purpose

Life is not built upon romantic comedies and feel-good movies with music in the background. Life would be *less* rewarding that way. But when things aren't going so well, we want some of those moments, I understand.
Come back to reality. You don't have to necessarily 'give up' on your dreams -- you change them. And don't focus on things in a dreamlike state. You're not 12 are you? Change your 'dreams', and see them as general goals. Adjust your goals. Sometimes they'll adjust higher, sometimes lower (like wanting to be an NBA player at age 45).

HEllo Wake Up CAll, no ones dreams come true, even if you get what you want its never exactly. But don't ever give up, if its what you really want, then go for it. Better to look back and say, i tried and tried then to say i gave up and think about what could have been, if you try and fail at least you don't have to wonder

Frustrating isn't it.
For your parents to raise you to believe in fairy tales as a child, that life is meant to be a certain way, that our dreams can be anything we want..and then when we get older..we find out..it isn't true. Life isn't a fairy tale, men don't ride up on white horses and then your left with disappointment and hurt.
You just have to ..hope...that all your struggles are for something...that in the end...you will find some kind of peace or happiness...You keep going and you keep searching.

keep trying. but know that the path of life is not a straight road. Sometimes there are little side roads and paths- some of them were very fun too. And know everything happens for a reason. If i would have gotten what i wanted sometimes it would have changed the course of my life and i wouldnt have the great life i do now.

A dream is a coherent thought of our wants and sometimes needs. They are something for thrive for. In life if we dont have nothing to push for or fight what is the sence in doin it? I have found from my experance that fightin for something makes u thrive and want what ever u want more. I wisah luck and hope all dreams come true.
