It's actually about his ex-girlfriend getting an abortion, which was in an interview with the lead singer. The second part of the song is about a girl overdosing on Valium in a suicide attempt. Only the first part is actually true though.

actual in simple terms: a woman that has an abortion then kills herself and the guy feels guilt yet they 'can't be held in charge' reason they have been in basic terms youthful(novices) in spite of the certainty that i think of on the unique version the bit the place it says she took a weks nicely worth of valium and slept. i think of it sounds extra like took a weeks nicely worth of valium and 'slapped him' pay attention.
