I knew someone who had bought one somewhere. Her daughter and her friends tried it and some girl who they didn't know who was supposed to be missing answered and spelled her name. After that that stopped using it as far as I know. I bought a used and possibly antique one a couple of years ago at an antique store. I would be more curious if a so-called psychic could tell me about the people who used to own it and possibly used it.Most likely these people would have died long ago or even recently. Maybe even a remote viewer might know.

Don't Get Trapped with Ouija boards
"The Ouija board is a vehicle which makes it easy for negative spirits and demonic forces to enter this plane of existence." cautioned that evil spirits or demonic forces often gain the trust of people experimenting with Ouija boards by answering several questions truthfully and providing predictions.
"Once they have gained the trust of their victims, it is easy for the entity to move in and take over either by strongly influencing that person, or by outright possession," .
People who are untrained and unsophisticated in the field of the paranormal and supernatural should never play with devices such as the Ouija board!
Love & Blessings

I agree with Milly, Ouija boards allow the individual to act a portal, which is open for both bad and good. It's rather fun and a thriller to experiance and granted nothing bad occured aftewards to my friends and I, it made you think about the possibilitles. We spoke with a young child about 8 who died from a car crash if I remember correctly and believed that the inventor of the Ouija Board was a 'quack' for quack doctor. On a seperate occassion with the same friends, one friend spoke to their supposed grandfather who quickly questioned them who this 'tall guy' was when I happend to peek my face into their dorm room. Granted no harm came to my friends and I, but the ghost haunt that I attended in October, gave me the creeps. Chris Moon, who travels around came to my college campus (Whitewater, WI) to do his own entertainment as well let us experiance an actual hunt for orbs and EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) seance.
According to him spririts (orbs) either love or hate static(white noise) so one volunteer carried a such a noise maker while others carried Gauss meters (spirits supposedly alter magnetic fields). Granted it's common to mistaken dust for orbs as he said, orbs tend to have more cellular (spherical) full bodied shapes when magnified and filtered through Photoshop. If you do the same with dust, there is more irregular edges. Anyway we walked through campus and then gathered at the base of the campus water-tower. The significance of this spot is that several individuals were hung here because they were Wiccan. The campus prior to becoming a state-university was a private teaching college that alongside had some groups of Wiccan practicers
Anyway, the experiance was just plain weird. He built this electrical device that would allow spirits to audibly communicate via EVP with us as we asked questions. Granted the audio was unclear at times and skeptics would question it. Being that it was a group of random people, the spirits were able to answer questions, call out individuals and identify certain characteritics (mind you its dark out), it was for me very unsettling. It's only my opinion that it was real and that's good enough for me. I've included the links to the pictures and audio segments from that night.

Why don't you people pick on something more than a toy maker's game. Something that really does hurt to people and should be demonized like maybe Jerry Falwell and Pat Robinson, if you've got the guts to go after the truly hellish.
