1. Continual promotion of big business over the working person by the Republic party.

2. Realization of lies, propaganda and purposeful manipulation. For me personally that used to be a Republican, I feel personally insulted and manipulated by the 'word game' Republics play... IE, global warming is now climate change, estate tax is now the death tax, etc...

3. Inability to cooperate with Democrats.

I was Republican the majority of my life... registered independent and now have registered Democrat.

If I had to sum up my transformation in one word, it would be TRUST. While I know politicians overall can not be trusted, I do know that I trust the Democratic party more to do the right thing for ME and AMERICA than Republic party...
