He's always so nasty & negative. He never seems to have anything nice or encouraging to say to the contestants. Is this supposed to be constructive critisism?

I dont think he's nasty..i think i have his personality. I'm not mean, i just say whatever is on my mind. If more people on the world were like that, without being ignorant...it would be a better place.

simon is mean just plain mean!he insults a lot of people who can really sing i mean some are not the greatest singers in the world but he insults them! i mean i can sing but i will not try out on that show because of how rude he can be to people! he should go a little lighter on people! telling people the truth about them selves is one thing but being cruly truthful is anouther!

To define my liking for him as"hate'' would be wrong.Simon is fair enough, when it comes to singers who really can't sing, then he is firm. When he is firmer to the good singers might be harsh.Simon voices his opinion, which helps the show a bit.I have to say,Simon can sometimes be harsh.

I don't think he's nasty and negative, I think he's being brutally honest. There's a difference. At least he offers some actual relevant words, instead of Randy and his "Yo, Yo, Yo" and Paula's "Oh you look so pretty" comments.

Good to see you watch the show, I'm glad you support FOX, what you dumb liberals call a "conservative media machine." Thanks for putting ad money in Rupert Murdoch's pocket that he can use to expand his FOX NEWS programming.

Man you liberals seem to get dumber by the day.

And "Simon" can do what he wants. If you don't like it, then don't watch.

It is constructive if you are trying to improve each week. He assumes you may be back.

I actually find it refreshing for someone who is not "politically correct" to speak his mind freely.
