Would help if you said where the hernia is! General advice is don't do any heavy lifting. It may get to the stage where surgery becomes an emergency if it isn't treated. If it starts giving you pain then you really should get it seen by a doctor.

MOST doctors and hospitals will work with you on the bill if you work it out before hand. Then you need to get the surgery because hernias do NOT go away. They have to be repaired.You need to get it checked out and get something done soon.

You should have a county health facility. Most major cities have free clinics where real doctors volunteer to help people without ins.

go to web md and read about it there is a belt called a truss that can be used under doctors supervision if there is severe pain and discomfort there is no alternative to surgery
