Ohh... yeah after i posted this question I relized I watched Run's house on MTV before and i said that's who he must be thanks for answering even though i know now.

He is a rapper from the group RUNDMC. This is a rap group from the 80's but continued into 2000. The group lost their DJ. He was shot and died. Rev Run has a show on MTV called Run's house. It's a good show, I like how the family interacts with one another. You can look it up on the MTV website.
