Give her time to adjust back to being back at home with you. Maybe she is getting sick, teething, or just needs extra assurance that she is not going to be apart from you for an extended period of time.

In the meantime, you cannot spoil a baby this young. Studies prove that babies who are held are more secure than babies who are left to cry.

If you have a sling or a front carrier take it out and put her in it. When she is happy, take her out and sit down with her in your lap on the floor. Give her a toy to play with or something interesting to look at and then transition her to the floor, a swing, a bouncer, etc.....Keep doing this until you can put her down and when you are able to put her down talk to her and stay within her sight.

It may take some effort, but she will transition back to where she can be put down.

Good luck to you and your baby.

Awh, a grandmother's love.
Well whatever you do, dont complain to grandma...she did what she did out of love.
If she cries alittle, she just cries. Its not the end of the world, pick her up cuddle her til she stops and put her back down.
If you have a swing, place her in that.
At night the 'heartbeat' teddy bear replicates the sound that she heard all week when granny had her.
If granny is nearby maybe granny can record a few soothing sayings and you can play them back when she is crying and that granny's voice might soothe her.....
If that does not work and
If you dont work outside of the home, maybe you can carry her in a sling so she can be near you and gradually reduce the time she is in it
She will be fine after a few weeks

Probably grandma held her every second, so now the baby thinks that is what is supposed to happen. You will just have to put her down with her toys and let her cry for a bit until she adjusts to playing by herself again. Yes, this seems mean, but it is important for your baby's development that she is on her own a little - it will give her time to explore her world and learn how to do new things.

Let the baby cry. The baby is spoiled and needs to learn that somebody cant hold it every second of every day. And tell the grandma not to hold her as much because she's spoiling her. I went through the same thing babysitting my baby cousin for a year.

Get a sling and HOLD HER!

Babies need love, it won't spoil them!

She simply got a taste of the 'good life' and now wants more.

I held my son constantly when he was little and now hes a very independant 14 month old.

Let her cry. It breaks your heart I know, but obviously Grams picked her up every time she squeaked. This is only the beginning, it's Gramma's job to make your job harder.

P.S. Don't you hate it when that happens?!
