There is always a way, you just have to figure it out.
Try using google. What is the file name extension of the itune files you saved to your hard disk?
If it is .mov then do a google search for .mov to .avi or something like that.

Try using Real Player. It finds all media files on your computer and puts them in one place, and then you can generally do what you want to after that.
