Ok well I am a grade 12 graduate but I am trying to upgrade on my English 12 and well I am stuck in the poetry section... I have no clue what the heck rhythm means... I don't get that whole stressed unstressed thing or accents or whatever so I'm hoping some one out there can help me out with simple easy to understand words

Pick a poem that you like very well. Read it out loud several times times to yourself and to an audience such as your family. It could a simple nursery rhyme or an interesting limerick. Listen to how you say it to make it effective. How you read it will give an understanding of rhythm and accents.
