if you see something good NOT to throw away like a piece of furniture do you go take it? My roomie wants to get out neighbors couch they have in there trash i said he ll no....thats just gross...what do you think? Do you do this?

I would never do that, but I know a few people who do.
There's nothing wrong with it as long as your neighbors were clean people, hey, at least you know where it's coming from.
You could probably wash the pillows in the washing machine and wipe the wrest of it with a wet cloth...

You would be supprised how many people do it. When people have cleanouts, there are other people who drive around colecting things for themself. "One man's trash is another mans treasure". Theres no harm in doing it but id wait til they werent home so they dont see you

I wouldn't just take it, I would go over and ask them if they minded if you took it. That leaves the door open for them to tell you what's wrong with it, like skippy their dog dry humped it to death or pee'd all over it. Otherwise if they are just getting a new one, you are good to go.

I have a friend that has a resale shop and that's how she gets some of her furniture that she sells. Her husband has an upholstery cleaner and he cleans them when she finds them and then they put them in their shop.

I don't, but people have taken our stuff before - whenever we put something "valuable" at the curb we bet how long it'll be before someone snatches it.

Yeah cause they are probably watching to see if someone's gonna take it they could've done the freak nasty on it you know ew.
