As long as it is not offensive, but that is a very subjective thing. I guess no swastika shirts and things like that, but most anything else should. Also, nothing that is dangerous, like chains, I had to not wear my chain wallet back in the early 90's when i was in school, but I see the reason for that and agree with it.

well Im a christian so I would say crosses should be worn in school The source for that is my own belief and pierced tongues mohawk's black lipstick even if I did look down on this If I think there is nothing wrong with crosses I can't judge people for wanting to wear these other things.
I think it should be up to the child and the childs parents.

I have to say yes, only because we can't judge no one on how they dress, my sister wears black lipstick and no have the right to tell her she shouldn't wear that in school. Plus theres nothing wrong with having a pierced tongue, tattoo or anything like that.

Yes, these things are often an amazing way to express ourselves, which can be critical to proper development in teens, and even children. As for the religous symbols, taking away a persons right to wear them should be (and maybe is), a crime Against freedom of religion, maybe?

Yes. It's all freedom of expression (yay!), and some fall under freedom to practice religion (bleh)... of course, there ARE dress codes as far as not being able to wear extremely skimpy clothing or whatever, but I'm assuming everyone can comply with that.

Yes, free country. Besides people doing their own thing is a great way for all of us to learn tolerance.
Take care and God bless you for having such an open mind.

A lot of those things ARE worn in my school already. I believe that everyone should be able to wear what they want, as long as it isn't offensive.

I guess not much you can do with what anyone online says. The school usually has their own policies and doesn't change them for anyone. The students have to go with what they say.

yes...we should have the freedom to express ourselves....if having a mohawk and wearing pink shirts is ur style, then go for it.
No one should have the power to tell you who you are.
