Good point. You must be referring to big government, deficit spending Bush and his neo-pods.

Neocons are a perfect combination of too far left on domestic issues and too far right on foreign policy issues. They're for big government, against civil rights, and they're huge spenders.
They think america should spread democracy the way the soviets tried spreading communism during the cold war. Way too agressive.

That's pretty much everything real conservatives are against.

What pattern of logic leads you to this conclusion?
Even if someone is socially conservative and fiscally liberal isnt that still less liberal than being liberal on both groups of issues?

Thats what makes them Republicans-- is the fact that they are considered more conservative than Democrats--who tend to be more liberal.
