My son was 14 months my daughter was 12 months. Every baby is different..Don't rush it..The sooner they walk the sooner they are walking toward something they want to break...

My son took off at 11 months but my sister walked at 15 months, every baby is different. If baby isnt walking by 18 months then you should be concerned. Best of luck!!!

My son took his first solo steps at 7 months 1 week, now he's at 7 months and 3 weeks, still not walking solo, but getting there very fast! My mom says he's way ahead though, so I'm sure what the average is.

My oldest son was 3 days before his 1st birthday. My 2nd son walked a few days shy of 10 months.

Normally babies learn to walk at least 1 year of age but some can walk earlier than that cause some babies are very advance with their developmental and motor skills.

My baby girl, now is 2 1/2 yrs. old, was walking two steps and tumbling and falling on her 1st birthday, but then every baby is different, there is no rule as to when babies should walk.....

It varies for each child, but my youngest started to really walk on 12/24/05 when he was 11 months. My oldest started to walk when he was almost 10 months.

My daughter took her first steps when she was 7 months! Then walked no problem my son took his at 1 year!

My first son at the end of eight months, my second son-nine months and my daughter who is now 11months, started at 10 months. All babies are different, but the norm is 13-14 months.
