it is for a management position and it is a second interview. I was told by the person who is going to give the interview to wear business casual.

Business casual is usually considered a pair of khakis and an appropriate shirt. But always inspite of them telling you to dress business casual, always go with the professional attire. Even though this may be your second interview, remember, first impression always makes a lasting impression.

I would wear a tie to the interview since you want to dress a little better than the actual position. If you are hired, nice slacks and a polo or button down shirt should be good. No jeans or tennis shoes, but no need to go out and buy a suit.

Wear dark slacks (blue ideally) with a shirt, tie and handsome sweater (bold with limited pattern).

That way, they see you have a tie, and can dress up by just taking off the sweater and donning a jacket.

Good luck!

NO jeans! Dockers, khakis . . . and for a shirt, something that will get tucked in and has buttons - no t-shirts. The tie could be optional. Leather shoes that don't resemble tennis shoes.
