I've known this girl since we were in middle school. What she does is she comes over to my house around 6 PM. She cooks me something, has 2 or 3 beers, drinks a cup of my cough medicine and falls asleep. She gets up and leaves around 2 AM and I'm usually sleeping by then. She's been doing this about once a week since january. It didn't bother me at first, but now I'm worried about her. I mean, Who knows what she does when she's not here. What should I do?

2 or 3 beers and some cough syrup is nothing honey. It could be a lot worse. But if it does concern you, you should talk to her about it. Just tread lightly. People tend to get defensive with these subjects.

Well you need to sit her down and talk to her about how you feel and how worried you are about her. If she keeps this up she could get seriously ill and possibly even die. You need to try REALLY hard to get her into a group of somesort. But first just sit her down and talk about how she feels her life is going ask her if she has any issues or problems that you might be able to help her out with or something. But definately try to get her to go into a group like Alcholics anonymous or something.

She seems to be at risk of becoming an alcoholic. There isn't much you can do, other than offer her your love and support. You could tell her she can't drink at your place and see how she takes it. If she refuses to ever come by again, she's got a problem.

That's a major red flag. She may not be an addict, but she's headed that direction. You have to talk to her. Hopefully, she'll get help early. You may even need to talk to her friends/family

thats strange. ask her why she is doing exactly what she is doing. and why the cough medicine???ask her what she is doing when she is not at your place or better ask her how was her day, what did she do, whats her plan for later. maybe offer her to stay overnight, not leaving at 2am.
