Ipod Q??????????????????

I cant get movies on it. when i try, the box that checks the option of letting movies on iTunes, it is faded(cant check it) and it is unchecked. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
