I have a hoop through one of my nostrils and I was thinking of taking it out to replace it with a stud but I can't seem to take it off. Any help?

I'd go back to where you got the piercing (assuming you were satisfied with the shop) and ask one of their professionals. Also, until then, try not to play with it too much. That will only make it worse.

Good luck :)

Oh, and to Oliver:
prolly...prolly...prolly...

haha just kidding :) I understand your irritation.

I don't think you should go the piercing pagoda quite yet. If you haven't already, take a Q-tip, and put on a little soap. Maybe a scraping of a bar soap. Run it lightly under warm water, and use it to clean around the piercing hole-on BOTH sides. It should then slide out pretty easily. When you're finished, wipe around it with a wet rag, napkin, or tissue, just to make it more easy. Keep it wet, before you pull it out, otherwise it won't come out as easily. Be careful, and in the very WORST case, go to the piercing pagoda, and they'll educate yo on taking it out properly.

You have a hoop through your nose... You wouldn't be a bull by any chance, would you?... Or are you just TALKING bull?

And for Sophie:
The f*****g word is 'probably'. The next person to say 'prolly' is going to get stabbed through the heart with my Ollie brolly!

Addendum for Lisa:
I'll let you off because I'm in a good mood and you're blonde. You were lucky this time! lol

They pierced it utilising a screw? I never heard of that. I had mine achieved 3 weeks in the past and he bent it into an L shape, he advised me to no longer twist it and to objective to no longer touch it too plenty or it ought to reason a keloid to type. additionally, be sure your utilising a sea salt/heat water wash and then what I do is take a cotton ball dab it interior the answer and gently push up the stud, so as that i'm able to wipe around the hoop and sparkling the section.

Unless you can bear with the pain when you take it out, I have tried on the second day of nose pierce. I can tell you its really pain and if you want it fast you can try back with those shop to put on for you but of course more painful. If you intend to take off yourself you can must put back as fast as possible do not wait as scare the hole will form up and it will be very difficult to put it back. I left it for a day and tried to put it back but unsuccess now already close up. Give up on it as I previously have pierce three times on it.

how long ago did you get it pierced? If it was less than 6 weeks ago, wait. If more, I'd go with the other suggestion of going to a piercing shop and asking them.
