Recall that Wheel of Fortune once had a daytime version and a nighttime syndicated version. Pat Sajak has hosted both versions but he has hosted the syndicated version from its inception.

A previous poster gave the correct answer - Chuck Woolery who hosted the daytime version from 1975 to 1981. After Woolery, Sajak hosted the daytime version from 1981 to 1989. Bob Goen was the last daytime version host from 1989 to 1991 when NBC canceled the daytime version due to the overwhelming success of the syndicated nighttime version.

Everyone forgets about this one....BOB GOEN

"Wheel of Fortune" (1975) TV Series .... Himself - Host (unknown episodes, 1989-1991)

By the way....Edd Byrnes was only the host for the pilot episode of "Wheel of Fortune."
