The larger question is that it appears the Bush Administration set out to lie to the American people about why we should fight a war with Iraq. When Joe Wilson found out that Iraq was not seeking enriched uranium from Niger, as the government claimed, Bush and Cheney sought to punish him by naming his wife as a CIA agent. It's becoming clear that Bush and Cheney wanted to go to war with Iraq at all costs, running counter to what the intelligence said.

you want to finish a touch study and get your data right now, Skippy. It became Richard Armitage who outed Valerie Plame and the federal prosecutor who convicted Schooter Libby knew all of it alongside and lined it up. Armitage admitted it publicly and also you are able to discover it on You Tube in case you care to look. Rove and Cheney had no longer something to do with it. And by technique of how, Valerie Plame wasn't a covert CIA operative. She became a low aspect CIA worker. As for Blago, he became an fool put in position by technique of Obama's friends who run the Chicago political gadget and were given what he deserved.

By reading some of the answers here, I can determine that not too many people speak with actually knowing what they are talking about, outside of a few answers. Libby wasn't on trial for outing a CIA agent, he was on trial for perjury. He should not have been, because to be found guilty of this, it would have to cause harm to the person, which it did not. She was outed by, I think the name was Armitage or something like that. Some people here need to read a bit or watch the news before they answer.
EDIT...I think you need to educate yourself. You present sources that are not credible. There is no author indicated, it looks like a blog of leftist ideals. Your second source doesn't even support your claims. Take a look at John's sources, these are credible, try to learn something.

Based on your question, I fear it is you who are spinning lies.
Fitzgerald did not find enough evidence to prove that Cheney and Rove had any role in the "outing" of Ms. Plame/Wilson. He tried and, according to quotes attributed to him by AP, was so angered about not getting them, that he decided to prosecute Libby.
Second, there is no law against "outing" a non-covert CIA employee. At the time of the alleged "outing", Plame was working as an analyst in Washington.
Third, even if she was "outed", Richard Armitage belatedy came forward and indicated that he was responsible for leaking her name.
Finally, Fitzgerald has closed the investigation. It is finished. So if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath!
But thanks for sharing.

Richard Armitage outed Plame. The trial for Libby should never have happened. Why would Fitzgerald want to prosecute two more people who had nothing to do with it?

Yup, that's the sad truth. Cheney is too big a fish to fry. That's why Scooter had to be the scapegoat.
It's a good lesson learned. Don't talk bad about the administration unless you want your wife's career ruined.
I'm pretty sure Rove is a disciple of Satan.

The Ball is in Congress's court now--Look for hearings in the very near future. This issue is not over by a long shot. The jeopardy Cheney's and Rove's strategy placed on numerous individuals around the world that belonged to the CIA and Plame's cover company is TREASONOUS and UNEXCUSEABLE!!

Educate yourself. Just because she worked for the CIA doesn't mean she was an agent. You could be just an employee too
