Unless you really stink they will not put you on the air, that is of course unless you can really sing.

First of all, my question to you is.....where is your confidence? Even the people who get on American Idol and obviously can NOT sing will tell you that they are the best singers in the world. You flat out said that you were OK. Being OK is not going to get you on American Idol because Simon will eat you up and spit you out. You have to be more confident in yourself........bottom line. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Here's how it works. Everybody shows up at some HUGE place - like a football stadium. Then - judges (not THE judges) are walking around - and having each person sing. If you're VERY good - and - very lucky - they let you go through to see Randy, Simon and Paula. If your horrible - but you THINK you're great - or you are a little odd - you may also get through - but only so America can make fun of you - and you can make yourself look like a fool.

IF - you'd just like to have the experience of auditioning for the show - and you're willing to wait in a long line - and stand around a lot - very likely for NOTHING - then go!

that depends.
are you easily embarrassed?
will you give up on yourself because someone says yo're not that good?
will this one audition change your life, even if you don't get in?
or will you take what they say and understand it?
will you be one of the people who the audience looks at and says, "they took that well. good sport"
will you care what other people say?
or are you so good that none of the above questions matter and you're just gonna get in no matter what?

take these into consideration before you audition.
and good luck.

Sure but before you do video yourself and watch it with someone who'll be honest with you , that way you don't make a fool out of yourself i you have no talent. Not that you don't but it's often hard to really see ourselves for who we are. And putting yourself out in public view for million to see is probably not how you want to find out if your any good, at least at first.

Go for it. If yo suck, then you can be the next William Hung and make a bunch of money. If you're good, you'll be on TV and might have a chance to get a recording contract. If you're just average, well, then it sucks because you probably won't be on TV, and you can't make a lot of money by sucking.

Yeah every physique who tries to do a queen music greater effective be waiting to return close in spite of if it replaced into tremendously undesirable and that i presumed Michael johns replaced into the only one to make it seem undesirable. yet could desire to trust David A, stunning!!!!!!!!!!!! almost positioned me in tears basically a dazzling job with the music. he and chickeze and David N have been the only ones in my e book who should be left on is week.

I'm not the best singer out there, but I'm going to try out next season. I don't want my parents to know because all they'll do is bash me. But I wont be 18 until 2 months AFTER auditions...So idk what I'm going to do. But I'm gonna try it...So I think you should totally do it...If it's what you want, then go for it! Goooood luck =]

Go for it. Just don't get too discouraged if you are not chosen. Remember, thousands of people audition.
