I'm in 7th grade, and this girl that i know always ditches 4th period (history) and goes to 8th grade lunch so she can look at all the "hot" guys. At first, it was like, whatever, but now, she's doing it like every day. It's getting annoying because she always brags about it. It's unfair because we're sitting there working and doing what we need to do, and she's slacking off! The worst part is that she never ever gets caught or in trouble. If she thinks she can get away with this, then how's she gonna be like in the real world. I'm thinking of telling the counselor, whom i trust. i would tell her to keep it anonymous. Do you think i should do it or not? is this serious?

This is a good question. Honestly I personally think you should talk to the counsler. But dont let my vote influence your decision. It really is her life and she is the one who is going to flunk the class and end up working at a gas station. Now if you really care about her and what happens with her life then I would tell.

Well, you basically answered your own question when you said "how's she gonna be like in the real world." I say live and let live. It's not your problem.

That said, I see two possible outcomes:

1. She's an irresponsible slacker, and she will not thrive in the real world. She'll end up married and bored with no purpose in life and/or living paycheck to paycheck in a dead end job.

2. It's just one silly class, and she knows what she's doing. She knows what she can get away with, and she won't let herself fail the class or even get a bad grade. She's one of those rare gifted people who can get good grades in everything without really trying.

Either way, let her control her own destiny.

Well, if you want justice and some form of punishment, then tell. It's a way of revenge, you do your work and she gets punished. You could always leave it alone and let her get into a bad habit of skipping class, and possibly continue bad grades. It really depends on how you feel about her, hate or pity, it's up to you.

yes, tell anominously because its not fair and if shes doing it to make her more popular and put you down then that makes things even worst. its not good to keep thinks inside you, expecially if they hurt or affect you.

its also for her better because it will come back to her one day and she will regret everything.

have the courage to tell on her and look at it as making the world better, not telling

god give you faith and say a prayer for your thoughtful soul!!!!

She will get caught one day, and it's her education. She will probably end up failing history, and that will be all her fault. Just don't worry about her business, focus on your own.

Nah, don't tell.
I'm in 8th grade. I think you should just let her get caught-it'll teach her to get her butt to class.
Yeah, it ain't fair-but I'd rather be in class than have a LOT of make up work to do.

Best of luck!

you could tell the counselor, or just let her keep doing it. It will catch up in her grades.
