The ages of the people involved vary from the age of 11 to 17 years of age. The Eagle is the last I need to do before I become an Eagle Scout.

Go to a bottled water company that does "private labeling" and order some with your logo on it. Buy low, sell high. If that's too much investing, try a multiple family yard sale in your area. Advertise anywhere you can. Ask the sellers if they would donate all or a portion of sales to your organization.

It depends on several factors. How large of a group of scouts are we talking? How affluent is your community? How much money do you need to raise? How soon do you need the money? Are there any other restrictions?

Assuming you're in a suburban area with approximately 20 scouts, you need the fundraiser to occur in the next few months, and you're willing to wait a few weeks for your money, I'd recommend direct sales, specifically Rada Cutlery (though there are several other options here). Rada is a quality product with a lifetime guarantee, and they offer a 40-50% profit on each sale. Plus, they'll package the orders for you before they ship them.

If 20 scouts each sell $10 to 10 people, you'll have $2000 in sales and should profit about $1000. Scouts, being the energetic, self-motivated people they are, it should not be unreasonable to do 5 or 10 times that amount.

Good Luck.

Most people seem to think that fundraising means product sales or an event. The easiest way to do fundraising is to sit down with people, explain your project and ask them for money. No cost, low effort, few people involved, lots of money. Figure out the entire budget, and then figure out what specific things cost. Then go out and ask people to participate with you. If you want to ask more than one person at a time, have an event at your home, one hour, where you invite lots of people for coffee and make a presentation. You can do this repeatedly, and you'll learn a lot from it. Once you do it yourself, you can also create a team of people to do it with you, and teach them how to host a similar event. Cost: only the coffee and your time, and you can raise large amounts.
