Yes they should. The difference between american cartoons and Japanese cartoons is that the latter is for all ages. It may be a cartoon but the issues it deals with require a mature mind sometimes to understand.

hell ya! i'm in highschool and u should read Naruto. it's the best anime that's around. trust me. Gaara is my favorite character. then Neji and then Kiba. then Rock Lee and then Orochimaru. but Gaara is the best. i completely think that u should read Naruto. why don't u buy the manga at this website. just go under store and enjoy. Naruto isn't just about becoming a ninja, it's about some of the things u might have to deal with in life. it's the most real life relating anime i know because everything else is fake (i'm talking about how the characters act). get it it's the best!!

I couldn't get into Naruto. I watched a couple of episodes and it was not too good. It did not strike me as being as mature as some of the other animes, not to say that you are immature for watching it, I just couldn't get into it like I did with FMA. I am 19, for what it's worth.

I'm 20 still I like Anime so much answer is yes you could watch nartuo if you are high school then good Anime show. If look for Mature Anime like Hellsing or some then be hard found.

Anime is for everyone. Not only Naruto, other types of anime like DNAngel, Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Full Moon, Death Note, etc. You're never too old to watch or like anime.

As long as they don't watch the one on Cartoon Network (its turned into a cartoon for little kids...cut out violence, cheesy translated dialogue, too many "believe it" lines, )
They high school students are probably anime fans (as in they watched naruto in japanese on the internet WAY before cartoon network decided to translate it)

Yeah its ok, im in secondary (high) school and watch alot of different anime shows, although i do prefer more mature shows like outlaw star and gungrave.

Totally! If you like watching it, than you should. It doesn't matter what age you are. Except if your a middle aged person watching Barney or Teletubies. This is wrong.

You should watch it if you want to...it is a cartoon but it has more mature themes than the ones that you see on cartoon network or something.
