Official pot is not legal in the Netherlands. But its allowed to have a certain amount within your possession. Rules in Amsterdam and The Hague are the same as in all other places in the Netherlands. But be aware that it's not allowed to smoke it in all public places or on the street. The bigger the city, like Amsterdam, the more places it is tolerated. But in almost every town you have coffee shops were you can buy and smoke it,

its illegal anywhere in the Netherlands, but you may carry pot for own use, the rule is coffeeshops are not allowed to sell more then 5 gram to each costumer. so if you carry under 5 grams and don't smoke it in public you won't have any problem. (its not a big problem to smoke it in public, only you should be a bit care full where you do it, you could get a bit of trouble if you smoke pot in front of a kindergarten or something like that, but if for example its 3.00 on a Saturday night you can smoke it without any problem, so just use your own judgment about whats OK, and whats not and you won't get much problems.
1 last hint: In Amsterdam and Den Haag(the Hague) there are a lot of coffeeshops only selling to tourists, just ask around and avoid those coffeeshop since the pot isn't that good and overpriced. You should pay around € 5,- per gram weed (depending on the quality)

In whole Holland The use and possession is LEGAL in small amounts. So no problem for you to have a great time in den Haag. I advise u to use the licensed coffee-shops to buy and use ure Pot.
The ALLOWED part of the law is the part of the distribution and growth. Because only Low amounts are legal (5 grams) to posses. The coffee-shop owners and the distributors of the pot are outside the law. However the dutch government wanna have a regulated and controlled distribution the allow this.

Yes its legal in every city in The Netherlands.... you can only buy a certain amound and not take it over the border.... You can smoke as much as you want in the coffee shop where you will buy it or at home, it's not allowed to smoke it on the street, but in big cities people do it, although its not always apreciated. HAve a blast and enjoy the menu when your at the coffee shop feel free to ask the diffrences between the different types of pot..........

it's not really legal anywhere, it's tollerated, and it's tollerated in most city's in this country, some places might have some signs saying it's not since they been having too much problems with dealers and tourists, but all over the country you have coffee shops where you can get it and smoke it, even in my little town hihihihi, enjoy

Yes, it is legal throughout the Netherlands and available for purchase in "coffee houses", where you will find a nice menu of marijuana for sale.
