If this is on pigmented/protected leather the key to a successful repair on this type of damage is a good colour mix. You can send away a small sample and have a colour exactly matched for you which will then not show up when you do your repair. You do not need to use glue as the pigments also contain filler and finish so you can do everything with the colour.

Please do not use shoe polish as it will come off on peoples clothes and will not match your leather so will make things look much worse.

If the scratches are on aniline leather then they should disappear with the use of leather protector.

you need to use a colored shoe polish not kiwi it is a cream polish
you will find it st a good shoe store or shoe repair it comes in many colors
