I’m really not compatible with American women, we just don’t seem to get along. We just want drastically different things. But I have found that I get along very well with Brazilian women, I’ve traveled a lot and have found that Brazilian women generally posses the attributes that I seek. I find them to be kind, strong, passionate, hard working, monogamous, family oriented, and obviously beautiful. I know you can’t generalize an entire people even if the stereotype is positive, but in my personal experience I have found that there are many Brazilian women like I have described.

With that being said there are not many Brazilian women in the US, so I was thinking of going to Brazil to find the women of my dreams. The problem is that I have heard people(mostly Women) say that I would be taking advantage of poor women who want to get out of poverty, or that it’s the same thing as sexual slavery or a mail order bride.

But personally I don’t think its anything like that, it’s not like I’m a big fat loser who can’t get a women so I prey on disadvantaged foreign women. I’m actually 28 years old, Caucasian, 6-1, 200 pounds, dark hair, blue eyes, athletic body frame, a college degree, a very good high paying job, I’m monogamous, generous, and I treat women very well. So what do you think? Is what I’m doing unethical?

I hate when people repeat things they heard and reinforce steriotypes. Saying that Brazil has the highest HIV rate per capita in the world, without presenting any source shows how people can be prejudiced. Check the links below. As you can see on the map, Brazil is not included in the 30 top aids countries in the world and as a matter of fact, the country is a role model for Aids treatment (according to the UN and the CIA factbook). The comment about AIDS is hearsay, unfounded information that comes from people who for a reason I ignore just want to denigrate an entire nation.

I don't see how that would be necessarily "unethical" if you are just seeking compatibility with another person. Love is blind. If you feel if you are more comfortable around Brazilian women then so be it. You just have to make sure who ever you will marry is not taking advantage of you OR your money. The women who say that to you are simply trying to make you aware. Some of those Brazilian woman might just be trying to do those things as you described.

First of all, people of your country really suffer of some kind of retardation. Not all Brazilians are poor, duh.

Wolfsburgh, you're acting like a retarted too, go figure, the percentage of HIV people in Brazil is 0,5%. My source? The United Nations.

What about the US? 0,6%!

(Oh, I forgot, United Statesians don't believe in the UN :(
If you have sex with prostitutes, well, that's your problem, not my country's problem, perverted gringo.

Disadvantaged foreing women? hahaha. I see you go to the slums to get the women none Brazilian want. I doubt you'd be succesfull with a middle class Brazilian.

Yeh.

Collin,

I personally think it is wise to not limit ones opportunities to one particular country. I do hope you find what (and who) you are looking for.

Please do note...Brazil has one of the highest per capita HIV rates...and, as you know, those reports include only those who KNOW they have the virus. Tread warily...

Electrobird:

I'm very sorry that you feel that my telling a fellow human being to "be careful" to be a slur against Brazilians. I've been to Brazil on many occasions, and I happen to love the country and it's people...married a Brazilian woman, as a matter of fact.

I don't know where you're getting YOUR information...I'm getting it FIRST hand. I hear from the people there...from virtually every major city...and HIV/AIDS is everywhere you can shake a stick. As I've stated before, ANY statistical data you can provide me with is inherently skewed...they can only put into numbers the citizens that present themselves with the virus.

Get real, man...it IS a problem there, just as it is here and almost everywhere else.
