Brilliant! David Icke, turquoise-loving ex-Coventry goalkeeper, sports presenter and son of God or whatever he said on Wogan.
I think complete loony, I saw a book of his in Waterstone's and tried skimming through it, he was talking about this world not being real and that reality was a place called Matrix (unsurprisingly this came to him after eating some hallucinogenic plant in Brazil).
He actually seemed to be passing it off as his own work and in no way inspired by 'The Matrix' film.
I wonder if his long suffering family still hang about with him, I know lots of people have embarrassing dads but he takes it to the max :)

Ok David Icke's world view is loosely as follows...
The earth is controlled by an overriding conspiracy whereby monied aristocratic families (Bush Dynasty, European Royalty, etc) secretly manipulate international politics, wars and corporations/economics via the "Illuminati", The Bilderberg Group, The Freemasons, etc.
Still with me?
This conspiracy may stem from the arrival of lizard aliens thousands of years ago who manipulated the world to their own nefarious ends via their creations: The bible, The Torah, numerous wars, the birth of the nations, etc.
Still there?
The lizard aliens are still secretly pulling the strings and travel to and from this planet and live underground here on earth and amongst us. Their adminstrative base is the City of London.

These lizard aliens are capable of "shape shifting" to a human appearance from their true lizard alien form at will. However, in times of emotional stress they can shift back to their alien form involuntarily.
The lizard men are a bunch of rapists/child molesters.
The lizard aliens may have interbred with members of our ruling classes.
George Bush Sr. is/may be a lizard alien or his ancestors may have interbred with lizard alien.s.
George W. Bush is/may be a lizard alien or his ancestors may have interbred with lizard aliens.
Queen Elisabeth II is/may be a lizard alien or her ancestors may have interbred with lizard aliens.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
Some of what David Icke says is highly plausible. Most of it is improbable (and impossible to prove or disprove). A lot of it is libellous/slanderous (I understand he has numerous legal problems). All of it is terrifying.
I take my hat off to him for having the guts to say this stuff.

David Icke is possibly all or many of the following:
A) A delusional paranoid schizophrenic.
B) A prolific and profitable author.
C) Right and we are all in deep.
D) An iconoclast and freethinker.
E) Correct that everything in the media is not as it seems and that sometimes the establishment does pull the wool over our eyes.
F) A clever man and excellent public speaker.
G) A Lizard Man.
H) A modern version of Elphias Levi or Aleister Crowley.
I) A bit of charlatan.

Hi.
He is completely misguided, lacking in the thinking department, and a downright total twit in my opinion.
I admire all religeous beleifs, and fair play to all, but I do not adhere to the "demented" faith, as per the book of bonkers Icke.Chapter four, verse 19, "I look around this circle, and I see my Brothers"
Er, what pills have you swallowed tonight, David ?
But what do I know? My beleifs and wishes of a world of peace & harmony may be equally inept and doubtful sometimes.
Oh well, at least I think so without drugs or mental illness !
