My mom and I went shopping today. I bought two pairs of nice shoes. Originally the shoes were $56 each. However, I got them both for a total of $50. I thought that was a good buy....my mom thought it was ridiculous that I would pay that much for shoes. What do you think?

I wouldn't be asking this question if it was her money, because then I could understand. But, it was my own money I was spending....

How can it be ridiculous to pay $25 for a pair of shoes, especially a pair that originally cost $56? No offense, but your mom really needs to get out more! :

that is extraordinarily cheap, if they were nice shoes or sneakers that means they were $25 each. most heels are about $50-$100 and most sneakers are $40-$50. either way its a good buy, i mean its not payless but quality shoes for $25 is great!

that is a really good deal!!!!! the price was cut down more than half! that is not a lot for 2 pairs of shoes, its not even that much for one. where do you shop for shoes lol.

some of my shoes cost 150 a pair
she is out of touch I guess with the cost of things

I think that's a pretty good deal, depending on what kind of shoes they were. If they were cheap like flipflops or plain sneaks, then no. but if they were cute flats, clogs, or even uggs, then that is a great deal!

but its still kind of pricey
i personally wouldn't pay that much for shoes but thats only because i have a limited budget
as long as you make your own money it's fine

As long as you like them and if you think it's worth the money! I mean, it affects you only, really. Like honestly, I don't really care if some stranger I met spent $300 on a pair of flip flops or something.
I hope you're happy with your purchase, as long as you don't regret you bought them.

it's a very good deal. it means 25 bucks for each pair. that is a very good price. maybe ur mom didnt want u spending her money! lolz
