Then why, of all things, put it in your water supply? (Wells, city water)

Yes, if you drink concentrated bleach it will kill you.
I wasn't aware they put it in water supplies, bleach and chlorine are not the same thing if thats what you are thinking

If there is bleach, it is so diluted it wouldn't harm anything. You swallow pool water and it doesn't kill you, same thing.

They don't put bleach in water wells. How would bleach get in a well?? There are not any chemicals in a well.

If you ever saw inside a water tank you would want bleach in it dead animals ets I worked for water dept for years trust me better than the alternative

by dilution you can weaken the poisons and chlorine's to a safe consumable levels. Concentrated chlorine bleach will gurgle your intestines like Red Devil Lye and make your bowel movements something to remember, if you live that long.
